Anderson, Anderson and Brown’s Apprenticeship and Work Experience Programmes

Please see undernoted information regarding Apprenticeship and Work Experience Programmes for Anderson, Anderson and Brown in Prime Four, Kingswells, Aberdeen.

“Applications for our Apprenticeship programme are open now and will close on 11 March 2019. Our programme allows school and college leavers to get a head start in a career in accountancy/business advisory through working while studying towards their professional qualifications such as ICAS and ACCA. Our trainees are supported by the firm as we offer study leave and pay for their exams. This is a great opportunity for any young person as a great alternative to university.

We are also running a Work Experience programme in our Aberdeen office, allowing secondary school students to experience life at AAB for a week. During this week-long experience they will shadow trainees in a different department each day including tax, audit and accounting services. At the end of the week they will have a discussion with HR to discuss their experience and give them the opportunity to ask questions about their future career. This programme is open to secondary school students in 4th year and above. To apply, applicants should email their CV and Cover Letter to happypeople@aab.uk, and specify which of the following dates they would be interested in doing work experience:

•11-15 February 2019
•8-12 July 2019
•22-26 July 2019.

There is no official closing date for applications for our Work Experience programme, however as our first week of the programme takes place in February we will be making a decision after the Christmas holidays. We will decide on the placements for the July dates in the spring.

To apply for our Apprenticeship programme, applicants should apply via our online portal located on our website www.aab.uk/careers/students-graduates. Applications for this programme close 11 March 2019.
