We’d also like to thank the parents and family members who came along on the Wednesday night and were witness to several prizes being handed out for a variety of artistic and creative categories! Also a shout out to senior music students John Norrie and Dean Gibson who provided some wonderful background music to really bring the evening together!

We were fortunate enough to receive a visit from Jennie Chalmers and Robert Lovie (a former pupil from way back!) who are trustees from the David and June Gordon Memorial Trust. This is an Aberdeenshire based group who have been promoting and recognising music and arts in schools and they came along to select nominees for a junior (S1-S3) and senior (S4-S6) art prize.

We are delighted to say they selected pieces by Kaitlyn Stopper in S3 and Jasmine Walker in S4 to compete against nominees from other schools in Aberdeen City and across the Shire. Winners will be announced in December so fingers crossed for our two very talented students!

We hope to continue these Exhibitions each year and once again thank you to everyone who took the time to come by and see what we had on offer. Sadly we cannot share too many photos from the event as it contains ongoing assessment work for our senior students but we have included what few pictures we are allowed to share!
