PSYV (Police Scotland Youth Volunteers)

PSYV North Aberdeenshire

Did you know that some of our young learners volunteer in their spare time? One of the organisations that our young learners are involved with is PSYV (Police Scotland Youth Volunteers). They undertake volunteer work at many local community events – check out some of the attached links/pictures to see what they have been up to over the past few months. It is not all about volunteer work though they also get time to participate in some fun events. A team of 6 Fraserburgh Academy pupils battled it out over a summer weekend of heavy rain to be crowned 2019 champions at the Annual Games held at Tulliallan. The key to their success we have been told was teamwork which saw them take on Baton Relay’s, Obstacle Courses, Observation Tests to Solving Murders. Well done to everyone who was involved.

Separate congratulations must also go to Fraserburgh Academy pupil Jack Murray who succeeded in winning Regional Youth Volunteer of the year at the recent awards also at Tulliallan. Well done Jack 🤩
