Sports Coaching Volunteer Work Award
Jessica Brannan has been awarded for 50 hours of volunteering through Saltire Awards. Jessica contributed many hours to local active schools clubs, enhancing the experiences of young people in a variety of sports and activities. As part of the Bridge Project, Jessica also led a group of adults with learning barriers to be independent and build confidence through different sports and physical activities at the Community Centre in Fraserburgh. Jessica is a fantastically enthusiastic and engaging young person who has developed and grown through the opportunities offered at Fraserburgh Academy and the wider community that engages with our school. Jessica has applied for University this year and we have no doubt that she has a bright future ahead of her. Sarah Ball (Employability support worker and leader for the bridge project) quoted her as “a credit to her parents and the school”. Well done Jessica.
